Minister: Russia to harvest 120-125 mln tns of grain in 2018
MOSCOW, Jul 3 (PRIME) – Russia plans to harvest 120-125 million tonnes of grain in 2018 and export 30-35 million tonnes in the 2017-2018 agricultural year, Agriculture Minister Alexander Tkachyov said in an interview with NTV television channel on Monday.
“We will wait for the next year’s good weather to harvest our 120 or maybe 150 million tonnes of grain,” he said.
The grain harvest forecast for 2017 has been reduced to 100-105 million tonnes from 110 million tonnes due to unfavorable weather conditions.
